Day 1: Diani Beach / Mombasa – Tsavo West National Park

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Diani Beach or Mombasa at around 06:00 hrs. Travel along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway via Voi town before entering Tsavo West National Park through Tsavo River Gate.

After entering the park, enjoy your first game drive as you head toward your lodge or luxury tented camp. Tsavo West is known for its rugged scenery, volcanic hills, lava flows, and diverse wildlife including elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, and antelope.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, depart for another game drive including a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary, a protected area where the endangered black rhino is carefully conserved.

Dinner and overnight at a safari lodge or luxury tented camp.

Day 2: Tsavo West – Amboseli National Park

Start the day with an early morning game drive before breakfast. Later visit the famous Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water flows from underground streams originating from Mount Kilimanjaro.

The springs attract a wide range of wildlife including hippos, crocodiles, fish, and many species of birds, making it one of the most fascinating natural attractions in Tsavo West.

Afterwards depart for Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Africa’s highest mountain.

Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive across the open plains where elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, and many other animals can often be seen.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented safari camp.

Day 3: Full Day Safari in Amboseli National Park

Spend the full day exploring the beautiful landscapes of Amboseli National Park, one of the best places in Africa to observe elephants in the wild.

The park’s sparse vegetation and open savannah make wildlife spotting easier, offering excellent opportunities to see lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species.

Enjoy a morning game drive followed by time to relax at your lodge before heading out again for an afternoon game drive, when animals are most active.

Weather permitting, you may also enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, creating one of Africa’s most iconic safari photo opportunities.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented safari camp.

Day 4: Amboseli – Nairobi

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and begin the journey back to Nairobi. As you leave Amboseli National Park, enjoy a final opportunity to spot wildlife and capture last photographs of the incredible landscapes.

Travel back to Nairobi with scenic stops along the way, arriving later in the day. Drop-off will be at your city hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
